Springville, Tenn.–The Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge will host ‘An Evening At Sulphur Well’ fundraising dinner with Ski Witzofsky Saturday, September 23. The dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m., with probram at 6:30 p.m. Tickets $30 per person.
Sulphur Well was Henry County’s first resort and contained rejuvenating sulphur wells, hotel, cabins, and stores. The resort was flooded when Kentucky Lake was formed. Its location was a few miles from where the refuge headquarters is now.
