Mayfield, Ky.–The Graves County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspect in a recent church burglary as Bryce Nelson, age 18, of Mayfield.
Nelson was identified thanks to tips gathered from the public after the sheriff’s office posted surveillance photos taken at the scene over the weekend.
Sheriff Jon Hayden said Nelson turned himself in Monday night after contacting the sheriff’s office.
Nelson admitted to forcing two doors open to two separate buildings at a church in Southern Graves County.
Nelson was lodged in the Graves County Jail on two counts of burglary in the third degree, a class D felony.
“The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank those who contacted us with information pertaining to this burglary.” Hayden said.
