
Huntingdon, Tenn.–The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released the accident report on the accident that claimed the life of Carroll Electric Lineman Chance Carlton in the line of duty. The accident occurred in the early hours Thursday during the severe storms.
Carlton, age 32, of Huntingdon, was a passenger in the 2017 International 740 truck when it was in the accident on Purdy Rd., according to the THP. Driver was Jacob Blake, age 28. According to the THP, neither was wearing a seat belt.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Scott Carter officiating. Interment to follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM until time of the service
