Paris, Tenn.–Widespread flooding is reported throughout Henry County as heavy rainfall has continued all day today, with more expected. Uprooted trees have blocked roads while creeks are overflowing and washing over roads. Sheriff Josh Frey said first responders are seeing flooding “where we don’t normally see flooding” and warned motorists they need to turn around and find other ways to get where they’re going if they come to water over the roads. Heavy rain will continue tonight and into the early morning, he said. He also asked that people not move barricades that the sheriff’s office has put up about road closures.
