Paris, TN – Henry County athletes competed at the Calloway County track and field meet on March 17 and brought home wins. Joshua “JJ” Cook took first in the 100 meters while Ja’Kye Beard was first in the 110 high hurdles.
Coach Stephanie Winders said, “This meet was an excellent opportunity for a majority of our athletes to complete in a field event or race. Many track meets limit the number of entries therefore the coaches have to determine which athletes meet the standards to race. We are pleased with the process the athletes are making.”
Henry County competes tonight at University School of Jackson in Jackson, TN.
