Union City, Tenn.–Thursday at 6 p.m., marked the end a 34 year career in Law Enforcement for Sergeant Stacey Bostwick. Sergeant Bostwick had a remarkable career and is retiring from the Obion County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Karl Jackson said, “He is a true example of dedication, integrity, courage and service. For 34 years, he has served the communities he worked in with unwavering commitment, standing as a protector, a mentor, and a friend to many.”
His last call on the radio was made sweeter since his daughter, Katelyn, handled his final send-off.
Sgt. Bostwick served for many years at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office prior to Obion County. He and his K9 partner, Rowdy, were well-known in the area, having saved ives and made many busts together.
Jackson said, “Law enforcement is more than just a job—it is a calling, and Sergeant Bostwick answered that call with courage and compassion every single day. Whether it was responding to those in need, guiding young officers, or simply lending a listening ear, his impact reaches far beyond the badge. The sacrifices made, the long nights, the tough calls—through it all, Sergeant Bostwick has carried the weight of Badge with honor, courage and humility. The lives he has touched, the trust he has built, and the difference he has made will not be forgotten. As he steps into this well-earned retirement, we hope for nothing but joy, relaxation, and new adventures ahead. Sergeant Stacey Bostwick thank you for your selfless service, your leadership, and your unwavering dedication. You have left a legacy that will inspire those who follow in your footsteps.”
