Exciting news! Tuesday, they officially broke ground on a $9.3 million renovation project at the Kenlake State Resort Park campground! This marks the beginning of a major transformation as part of the #NewKYHome initiative, bringing much-needed upgrades to Kentucky State Parks.
When complete, the campground will feature:
63 full-service campsites 6 camper cabins with lake views A brand-new 2,000-square-foot bathhouse Pull-through sites & sewer connections Upgraded electrical & water lines More handicap-accessible sites Two additional restroom facilities near the lakeThe campground will be closed for the 2025 season, with work expected to be completed by spring 2026. They can’t wait to welcome campers back to experience these exciting improvements!
