Mary Malone, age 74, passed away peacefully at her residence Friday, February 28, 2025. Her funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 2, 2025 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Graham of Henry Church of Christ to officiate. Burial will follow the service in Palestine Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Carly Milton, Will Brown, Lucas Brown, Ava Swayne, Rob Swayne, Anderson Malone, Tucker Malone, Aubrey Claire Malone, Graham Malone, David Perry, and Jerry Jones.
Visitation is scheduled on Sunday after 1:00 P.M. until service time.
Mary Josephine Parker Malone was born November 21, 1950 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late George N. Parker and the late Josephine Mizell Parker. She married Eddie C. Malone on March 12, 1970 and he preceded her in death on November 3, 1997. Mary is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Joe) Brown and Amanda (Bobby) Swayne all of Paris; son, James (Kimberly) Malone of Medina; grandchildren, Carly Milton, Will Brown, Lucas Brown, Ava Swayne, Rob Swayne, Anderson Malone, Tucker Malone, Aubrey Malone, Graham Malone, Magen (Tommy) Jones, Alex (Reece) Hassell, and Abby Swayne; sisters, Janice (Bob) Perry of Paris, Betty Cate and Joyce Parker both of Henry; also by nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Mary is also preceded in death by her brother, Elery Parker.
Ms. Malone was a longtime member of Henry Church of Christ and Eastwood Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing games with her family and traveling with her “TOPS” friends. Mary loved and looked forward to celebrating birthdays with family and friends but most especially her own. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
