Dover, Tenn.–The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office is losing one of its most popular deputies. Deputy Grayden Grise is leaving the Sheriff’s Office and is headed to the Tennessee Highway Patrol as a trooper. Grise started out as a Court Security Deputy then went on to graduate from Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2023. He has a degree in Criminal Justice from APSU and is a graduate of Stewart County High School. Deputy Grise will be missed by the Sheriff’s Office as he has served this county well during his time here. He is a fine young man and Sheriff Frankie Gray said the department is very proud of him and his accomplishments. “We know that he will continue his good work serving the THP. He will be attending basic trooper class the end of this month. Good Luck Grayden.”
