
Dover, Tenn.–Five deputies with the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office were recognized for preventing a suicidal individual from jumping from the bridge at Paris Landing in October. The Sheriff’s Office recognized them at the County Commission Meeting Monday February 3rd. Capt. Sam Mills, Lt. Robbie MacDonald, Investigator Dana Saltkill, Deputy Zach Grizzard and Deputy Grayden Grise were all recognized. The five Deputies were recognized for their quick action, professionalism and compassion in which they were able to prevent a suicidal individual from jumping from the Ned McWherter Bridge at Paris Landing in October 2024.
