Paris, Tenn.–With the $5,837 raised today, the total raised so far in the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is at $161,556. And participants were bidding high and often.
Today’s items were donated by Joe Mahan Ford, First Presbyterian Church, New Boston community, the Jolly Women’s Club, Trinity United Methodist Church. There were 17 slates of items.
Auctioneer was Andy Collins and the Kiwanis Club manned the phones.
Wednesday items: Mansfield community, Christ Lutheran, Johnson Chapel, Carl Perkins Center.
Thursday items: Buchanan community, Lakewood Beta Club, HCHS Soccer.
Friday items: Chapel Hill/Guthrie Rd.; Holy Cross Catholic Church; TARP.
Saturday is Henry County Hospital day.
Auction phone is 644 1695. The auction is held at the Paris Convention Center at 1510 East Wood St., Paris. Dozens of groups and local communities raise thousDonaands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit service organizations.
The auction is broadcast daily at our radio station WHNY, 104.7 FM/AM 1000; on our website at radionwtn.com and on the Henry County Helping Hand website.
The auction begins at 12:30p.m. on weekdays and noon on Saturdays.
