Paris, Tenn.–It was a big day for the Whitlock community, which raised $8,073 for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction, bringing the year-to-date total to $150,899.
Auctioneer was Wendy Barnhart, with Ray Compton sitting in to give her a break during the afternoon.
Monday items will be donated by New Harmony Baptist, Heritage Center, Henry County Historical Society, HCHS Band Boosters/Color Guard, Inman Band and Inman Beta Club.
Tuesday items: Joe Mahan Ford, First Presbyterian Church, New Boston community, the Jolly Women’s Club, Trinity United Methodist Church.
Wednesday items: Mansfield community, Christ Lutheran, Johnson Chapel, Carl Perkins Center.
Thursday items: Buchanan community, Lakewood Beta Club, HCHS Soccer.
Auction phone is 644 1695. The auction is held at the Paris Convention Center at 1510 East Wood St., Paris. Dozens of groups and local communities raise thousDonaands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit service organizations.
The auction is broadcast daily at our radio station WHNY, 104.7 FM/AM 1000; on our website at radionwtn.com and on the Henry County Helping Hand website.
The auction begins at 12:30p.m. on weekdays and noon on Saturdays.
