Robert Clinton “Peanut” Neal, age 80 of Paris, TN passed away Monday, January 20, 2025 in Paris, TN.
Peanut had worked as a sales rep for Dual Fast until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, especially crappie fishing, and he loved watching baseball and basketball. He was a member of Cottage Grove Baptist church.
He was born October 24, 1944 in Paris, TN to the late Clinton C. Neal and the late Minnie Mai Neal Kimbel.
He is survived by two sons, Clint (Angie) Neal of Ledbetter, KY, and Richie (Statla) Neal of Ledbetter, KY; two sisters, DiAnn (Ray) Russell of Paris, TN, and Nancy (Gary) Smith of Puryear, TN; one brother, Charlie (Jan) Neal of Medina, TN; four grandchildren, Andrew (Emilee) Neal, Aaron (Elyssa) Neal, Stoy (Jennifer) Gates, and Courtney Gates; and seven great grandchildren, Dawson Neal, Baylee Neal, Winston Neal, Waylon Neal, Michael Gates, Conner Gates, and Ronan Gates.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. His funeral service will be Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Mike Wimberley officiating.
Pallbearers will be David Wilson, Andrew Neal, Aaron Neal, Mickey Pullen, and Mark Hart. J. W. Akers is named as an honorary pallbearer.
Burial will follow the service in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.
