Dover, Tenn.–The Stewart County Fire & Rescue today recognized Jennifer Walton, a Kentucky resident, who saved the lives of two Stewart County residents on March 21st. During the night, Jennifer was headed home when she saw a home on fire on Cadiz Road. She turned around, called 9-1-1 and then knocked on the door of the residence loudly and was able to get the two occupants out of the home. Without her bravery, the outcome could have been a lot worse. Officials said, “Thank you, Jennifer, for your courage!” Pictured along with Jennifer are several members of Station 7, Chief Ethan Luffman, and Deputy Chief Jimmy Luffman.
