Paris, Tenn.–Commercial Bank & Trust is continuing its tradition of giving out cans of black-eyed peas to its customers this year. Eating black-eyed peas on New Year’s Day is considered to give you good fortune for the coming year. The cans say: ‘Good Luck in 2024 and Happy New Year’. Commercial Bank partners with Henry School, whose students affix the labels. You can still pick up your can of black-eyed peas today at the Mineral Wells branch.
