Donald Jason “Jay” Alexander, 43, of Union City, passed away 12:17 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Jay was born Thursday, January 10, 1980, in Union City, son of Donald and Debra (Kerr) Alexander of Union City.
He worked many years for Craddock & Roach Paving and Ford Construction.
He was a member of Walnut Log Baptist Church.
He married Jimi (Pride) Alexander Wednesday, February 16, 2011. She survives.
He is also survived by two sons: Chris Alexander, of Hornbeak, and Jacob Alexander, of Troy; two daughters: Codee Alexander, of Paris, and Phoenix Alexander, of Union City; one granddaughter: Josie’lee Smith-Pride; one brother: Michael Alexander (Brandy). of Union City; three sisters: Amber Barr, of Clarksville, Shauna Kirsch, of Indiana and Terri Kelly (Tata), of Destin, Florida; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and a special friend: Amanda Burton, of Union City.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
