
Henry, Tenn.–The Henry Volunteer Fire Department has received another shipment of equipment, thanks to the Tennessee Department of Agriculture state grant and the AFG (Assistance to Firefighters) grant. The equipment was delivered by Jason Waddell and Darren Webb of the Forestry Service.
These grants combined have saved the community an estimated $19,000.00.
Henry Fire officials said, “Without your continued support to programs such as the BPU roundup program, Henry County Helping Hand, and fire contracts this would have not been possible. Thank you to everyone who has supported our department so we can provide better service to our communities.”
Equipment Includes:
2 x Leafblowers for assisting in fighting wildfires
2 x Portable Battery Powered Scene Lights
1 x Battery Powered Ventiliation Fan
1 x Hurst Combi Tool used for extrication of patients from vehicles
4 x Forestry Helmets
