
Mayfield, Ky.–The Graves County Sheriffs Office has received and followed up on information that the registered child sex offender who is on the run has been seen and hiding out in locations within Fulton County. Several locations have been checked by the Graves and Fulton County Sheriff’s Offices.
Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden said, “Anyone that might be aiding or assisting the suspect in evading arrest could be charged with Hindering prosecution or apprehension.”
An investigation by the Graves County Sheriff’s Office led to arrest warrants being issued for 47-year-old Brian W. Readenour. The warrants charge him with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree and Sodomy 2nd Degree of a child.
Readenour was already listed on the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry after convictions in 2016 in Graves County on charges of Rape 3rd Degree, Sodomy 3rd Degree, and Sexual Abuse 1st Degree, with the victim being 13 years of age.
Hayden said, “Readenour resides in the Gardner Road area which is located between the Wingo and Water Valley area of Graves County. The suspect is aware of charges and is on the run from authorities.”
This suspect has been convicted two times prior for sexually abusing children, and these pending charges make a third child victim.
