Mr. Mervin Crockarell, 87, of Indian Mound, Tennessee, was called home to be with the Lord Monday, November 20, 2023, at Dover Care Center.
He was born in Stewart County, the beloved son of the late Cark T. and Orlean Mullins Crockarell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Teddy Crockarell.
He proudly served his country for over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force.
He worked at Blanchfield Hospital with J&J maintenance until retirement.
Mervin was a faithful servant and member of Rose Valley Community Church.
He was a hard worker and provider for his family.
He especially enjoyed having his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at home with him making memories that will last a lifetime.
He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 69 years marriage: Mary Jane Crockarell; son: Steven Lyle Crockarell (Vickie), of Indian Mound, Tennessee; grandson: Jonathan Crockarell (Nikki); granddaughter: Haley Barrett (Cort); great-grandchildren: Jackson Hawkins, Elias Crockarell and Allie Saunders; brother: Hugh Crockarell, of Clarksville, Tennessee.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will resume Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. William Gray and Bro. Paul Edwards officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, Tennessee. Those serving as pallbearers are: Ken Hester, Mark Odom, Stanley Threatt, Fritz Gray, Pete Trump and Jonathan Crockarell.
