On the morning of Sunday, April 20, Wildlife Officers from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency responded to reports of a boating incident.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Austin Perry, a 19-year-old resident of Bath Springs, TN, was aboard a vessel with three other individuals when he sustained injuries after leaving the boat. The incident occurred near Eagles Nest Lane in the Bath Springs area of Decatur County, TN.
This incident remains under investigation and marks the fourth fatality-related event in Tennessee this year.
