
Paris, Tenn.–The 72nd World’s Biggest Fish Fry will kick off Saturday, with several new and traditional events planned: the Hushpuppy Dash; Car & Bike Show; Catfish Clash Boxing Event, Fish Fry Fling and the Demolition Derby.
Hushpuppy Dash 5K Walk/Run–8 a.m. at the Fairgrounds. Registration starts at 7 a.m. Event chair is Jaime Fairbanks.
Car & Bike Show–8 a.m. at a new location–Henry County High School. Event Chair is Jeff Baham.
Catfish Clash Boxing–NEW EVENT–noon in downtown Paris on the court square. Event Chair is Kayla Casey. Free admission, noon to 3 p.m. A boxing ring will be set up. Bring a chair. (Rain location will be at the fairgrounds).
Fish Fry Fling–NEW EVENT–8 a.m. to 1 p.m. McNeill Park and Eiffel Tower Park. Disc golf tournament. For event details contact John Thompson 731 707 2650. Sponsored by Paris Parks and Recreation Department.
Demolition Derby–7 p.m. at fairgrounds. Entry Fee $50; admission $15; children 6-10 $10; 5 and under Free. Pit Passes $25. Event Chairs Chris Martin, Jeff Baham, Chris Parker. Gates open at 5 p.m.
