K9 Borys Tracks Suspect After Domestic Attack

borys

Dover, Tenn.–Stewart County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Borys continues to serve and protect the county well. On Saturday, April 12th deputies responded to a residence off Old Hwy.79 for a domestic dispute that had turned violent when the male subject assaulted and choked a female subject and threatened to kill her. The male subject fled into the woods before deputies arrived. Sgt. Charles Fisher deployed K-9 Borys and picked up a track. K-9 Borys, Sgt. Fisher and Lt. Robbie MacDonald tracked the subject about one mile through the woods. The subject was found hiding under overhang in a creek bank. The subject surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. Arrested was Mickey Arp, age 49 of Erin. A great job by K-9 Borys, Sgt. Fisher and Lt. MacDonald.
