
Helen Sue Snow, age 82 of Paris, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Sue was born on October 19, 1942, in Camden, TN, to the late Charlie Watkins and the late Frances Wilson Watkins.
She married the late Phillip Snow on March 23, 1974.
Sue dedicated many years to working at JCPenney, where she warmly greeted everyone who walked through the doors. Her favorite part of the job was sharing a smile and meeting new faces. Throughout her life, she attended several churches and found great comfort in reading her King James Bible. She had a special love for seashells and enjoyed volunteering at the Oakland Election Center. Above all, Sue cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Cyndi Weldon of Paris, TN, Jennifer (Van) Smith of Paris, TN, Alan Knowles of Henry, TN, and Roland (Denise) Knowles of Henry, TN; four step-children, Eddie (Wanda) Snow of Hazel, KY, Kathy (Jim) Wimberly of Louisville, KY, Patsy Medlock of Paris, TN, and Danny Ray Snow of New York; very special sister and best friend, Nancy Allen of Paris, TN; two sisters, Betty Walker of Paris, TN, and Barbara Winchester of Paris, TN; one brother, Charles Wayne Watkins of Horn Lake, MS; nine grand-children, Tommy (Heidi) Flowers, Ty Flowers, Benjamin Knowles, Aaron Smith, Ashley (Mike) Deeter, Candise Smith, Adam (Michele) Smith, Faylynn (Danny) Page, and Ethan Knowles; and many great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Sue was preceded in death by one child, Terry Ann Granade; one stepdaughter, Beverly Anderson; two sisters, Peggy Snow, and Margarett Smith; and one brother, Robert Hamilton.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Her remains are to be cremated.
