Thursday, April 10, 2025, marks the 38th arrest of Billy K. Reed in Calloway County since 2001 for various offenses committed within the community.
At approximately 10 a.m., deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant in Dexter. During the attempt, a vehicle fled the area at a high rate of speed, prompting a pursuit that extended several miles. As the suspect vehicle neared Almo, a deputy executed a PIT maneuver, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and become disabled in a ditch.
The driver, identified as Billy K. Reed, was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Calloway County Detention Center.
