Primary care services include treatment of acute illness and chronic disease management and are
provided by a nurse practitioner or physician. Services can also include wellness exams, laboratory
tests, and health education.
The Health Department primarily serves uninsured and underinsured patients, providing
accessible care to those with little or no coverage.
