Paris, Tenn.–The new culvert on Park St. that the city has been working to install the last two weeks washed away in last night’s storm. Paris Public Works crews were on the site early this morning. City Manager Kim Foster said the drained had stopped up and the culvert had not set adequately yet when the heavy rainfall hit. The section of Park St. will be shut down while work continues.
