Paris, Tenn.–Workers are busy installing a new walkway around the Patriots Monument for Revolutionary War Soldiers on the courthouse lawn in downtown Paris. The walkway will make it more accessible to the public wanting to see all the names on both front and back of the monument. The Patriots Monument honors the Patriots of the American Revolution who were among the first settlers of Henry County. The monument contains the names of all the patriot soldiers of the American Revolution who lived in Henry County and was installed in October of 2024.
