Paris, Tenn.–Numerous protesters lined the sidewalk outside the Henry County Courthouse Friday, making their feelings known about cuts to the USDA, Department of Education, Social Security and other programs. The group held signs reading, “Hands Off Our Social Security”, “Save The Department of Education”, “USDA Cuts Threaten Child Nutrition” and more. The numbers of the protest group have grown each time they have gathered on the court square.
