Buchanan, Tenn.–The Paris Chapter of the Tennessee Naturalist Program enjoyed a beautiful day learning about reptiles and amphibians with John Hulett from Murray State at Paris Landing State Park over the weekend. During the field work portion of the class the students found zig zag salamanders, spring cave fish, guardian darter fish, two lined salamanders, a dusky and a blue lined salamander and a log perch. The most amazing find was the male rainbow darter flashing his colorful fins. (PLSP photo).
