Springville, Tenn.–Saturday was a HUGE day for ABLE Farms. Construction began bright and early, making the dream become more of a reality. Dirt was being moved to level the site for the five buildings that will make up the ABLE Farms equine therapy program: a welcome center, pavilion, stables, arena, and a hay/equipment barn. And yes, the arena from the original Hoofbeats of Hope in Cottage Grove will be moved there. Organizers Brother Randy Stephens and Kyle Stephens, shown in photo, kept saying how excited they are for this day to arrive. The program has been raising money with donations, including proceeds from two pancake breakfasts that have been held the last two years. ABLE Farms is located on Sulphur Wells Academy Rd.
