In line with this commitment, the hospital is offering an Active Shooter Training Course designed to equip participants with essential skills to respond effectively during an active shooter situation.
Course Overview: This comprehensive training, lasting approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, provides practical strategies to protect oneself, colleagues, and patients during an active shooter event, whether at the hospital or elsewhere in the community. Participants will evaluate their specific work areas to identify optimal response options in real-life scenarios.
Training Details:
- Location: West Tennessee Healthcare – Henry County Hospital, Classrooms 2 & 3 • Class Size: Limited to 35 participants per session
- Sessions: April 23, May 21, and June 19, including evening classes
Who Should Attend? The training is open to all West Tennessee Healthcare – Henry County Hospital staff, healthcare professionals, and community members who aim to be prepared for emergency situations.
