Join special guest speaker from the Paris Garden Club who will give us some insight on the invasive species in our local area. Meet at Nature Center parking lot at Paris Landing State Park.
Then everyone will work together continuing habitat restoration in the wildflower areas near the Nature Center on the Wetland Walk. You will be removing small diameter trees, rose bushes and invasive shrubs with loppers (provided) and moving cut debris to the road to be picked up by maintenance crews. Gloves and water will be provided. Please bring a sack lunch. Granola bars and fruit bars will be provided for snacking. Closed toed shoes, long pants are a must! Bug spray is also recommended.
Thank you for volunteering for part or all of the time allotted!
