Paris, TN – The Paris Utility Authority (PUA) Board of Directors met for its monthly meeting on February 27, 2025. Monthly financial reports were reviewed for all three departments. All three departments show a strong cash and net income position through seven months of the fiscal year.
The board accepted the low bid for the India Road substation upgrade. The bid was $381,123 from KVA Inc. and a delivery time of 24 to 26 weeks. The overall cost of the India Road rehab project is $2.7M.
The board then approved a pair of vendors for the upcoming fiber project. The fiber construction was awarded to the low bidder, ITG Communications, Hendersonville, TN. The materials low bid was awarded to Irby Utility with warehousing in Jackson, TN.
In other business, the board heard the Report on Debt Obligation for Series 2025 Water & Sewer Bond Anticipation note.
The March meeting of the Board is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
