Margie Ruth Richardson Paschall Perkins passed peacefully in Collierville, TN on February 23, 2025.
Born April 22, 1929, to the late John and Ruth Richardson. Margie graduated from Grove High School in 1947. She married her high school sweetheart, Glynn Paschall, in 1951 and they built a life and family in Memphis, TN, and were married for 25 years. After Glynn’s unexpected passing, Margie later married Ray Perkins in 1984.
During her many years in Memphis, Margie was a member of Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was Session Clerk for 20 years. She also worked for Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company, Standard Parts, and the Cumberland Presbyterian Center.
She enjoyed sewing, baking, and tending her many flowers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Richardson, her first husband, Glynn Paschall, her sister, Johnnie Williams, her brother, JD Richardson, and her second husband, Ray Perkins.
Margie is survived by her loving daughter, Glynda Luttman of Olive Branch, MS; a granddaughter, Jessica (Matt) Gresens of Newark, OH; two nieces, Barbara (Frankie) Brown of Humboldt, TN; and Marilyn (Bill) Bishop of McKenzie, TN; one nephew, Steve (Debra) Williams of El Cajon, CA. Her warmth, love, and steadfast dedication to her family will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Baptist Reynolds Hospice House.
