Paris, Tenn.–Even before the auction got started this afternoon, Auctioneer Amy Veazey announced there were donations totalling $108,185 for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction.
Yes, that’s right. $108,185. That includes the $100,000 donation from an anonymous person, as has become the custom toward the end of the Helping Hand Auction the last few years. The other donations to start the day came from the New Hope Baptist Church in Clifty; the Van Dyke Church of Christ and the Dana Foundation.
We can’t wait to hear what today’s total will be after the 18 slates of items are auctioned off. At the end of Monday, the year-to-date total was $373,720.
Today’s items are from the Lakeway Village; Mineral Wells Animal Clinic, and the Van Dyke/Routon community.
Wednesday is the last day of the 2025 auction.
