Paris, Tenn.–With three more days to go, the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction has now raised $364,538.

Saturday was another big day at the auction, with the Tennessee Valley Community Church raising $17,621. Members donated 23 slates of a wide variety of items, from key lime, chocolate, apple and other various pies, cakes, all kinds of breads, soup baskets, ready-to-eat meals, birdhouses, gift boxes and much more. A silent auction also was held during the day. Auctioneer was Andy Collins and volunteers from the church manned the phones.

Next week:

Monday: India community, Henry County Girl Scouts, Henry County Saddle Club, WRAP, Henry County Boys Soccer; and Springhill Baptist Church.

Tuesday: Lakeway Village, Mineral Wells Animal Clinic; and VanDyke/Routon communities.

Wednesday: Open to anyone day.

As a result of this week’s inclement weather, Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction officials have rescheduled Wednesday’s groups to the following dates:
Springhill Baptist Church will move to Monday, February 24.
Van Dyke / Routon Community will move to Tuesday, February 25.
These rescheduled organizations will join the groups already scheduled for those days.
Each year, the Helping Hand auction raises thousands of dollars for some 90 non-profit organizations in Henry County.

You can go to the Paris Convention Center, listen on our radio station WHNY 104.7FM/AM 1000, or watch on the Henry County Helping Hand Facebook page. Auction phone 644 1695.
