Paris, Tenn.–With three more days to go, the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction has now raised $364,538.
Saturday was another big day at the auction, with the Tennessee Valley Community Church raising $17,621. Members donated 23 slates of a wide variety of items, from key lime, chocolate, apple and other various pies, cakes, all kinds of breads, soup baskets, ready-to-eat meals, birdhouses, gift boxes and much more. A silent auction also was held during the day. Auctioneer was Andy Collins and volunteers from the church manned the phones.
Next week:
Monday: India community, Henry County Girl Scouts, Henry County Saddle Club, WRAP, Henry County Boys Soccer; and Springhill Baptist Church.
Tuesday: Lakeway Village, Mineral Wells Animal Clinic; and VanDyke/Routon communities.
Wednesday: Open to anyone day.
