Paris, Tenn.–The bids were high and they were often today. With the $6,274 raised today, the year-to-date total for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $338,680. The auction lasts through February 26.
Thursday’s donations were from Maplewood Baptist Church, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Peppers Automotive, Grace Episcopal Church and Henry County Basketball Boosters. Auctioneer was Wendy Barnhart.
Friday: Springville community, World’s Biggest Fish Fry, Patriot Healthcare, and Doghouse Rescue.
Saturday: Tennessee Valley Community Church.
As a result of this week’s inclement weather, Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction officials have rescheduled Wednesday’s groups to the following dates:
Spring Hill Baptist Church will move to Monday, February 24.
Van Dyke / Routon Community will move to Tuesday, February 25.
These rescheduled organizations will join the groups already scheduled for those days.
Each year, the Helping Hand auction raises thousands of dollars for some 90 non-profit organizations in Henry County.
