Delayed Opening of Visitor Center
Park Roads Closed Until Cleared
An unexpected winter event visited us overnight, leaving many areas under patches of ice.
The park team is currently out tackling identified issues in order to provide for visitor access.
The Visitor Center, 120 Fort Donelson Park Road, will open at 11:00 a.m.
Roads will re-open once re-assessed.
Updates will be provided over the Fort Donelson NB Facebook page and its web site ( www.nps.gov/fodo ).

Do be cautious while out and about. It’s icy, cold (as of 8:20a.m., 10 degrees/ -1-degree wind chill), and winter in Tennessee.
Dress appropriately for the current temps and be cautious in both walking and driving – often ice on pavement does not present itself as an obvious and shiny surface.
