Paris, Tenn.–The good people of First United Methodist Church raised $34,320 Saturday, bringing the year-to-date total for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction to $263,859. The auction runs through February 26.
There were 35 slates of donations. Freezers were all full, needless to say. Great variety of donations–meals including lasagna, pot pies, roasted root vegetables, etc., baked goods of all types, homemade candy, fudge. They also served lunch and snacks. It was a great place to get Super Bowl goodies.
