Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Junior Fairboard met for the first time in 2025. During this first meeting officers were elected and plans begun for this year’s Henry County Fair, which has the slogan, “A Barn-Raising, Hay-Grazing Good Time.”  The 2025 Fair will be held from August 8-16.

One event Junior Fair Board members are always excited for at the Fair is the Kick Off Dance which will be held on Friday August 8. The James Greer Band is confirmed to play. This year they are changing the boot strut competition to ‘Dress Like your Favorite Country Artist’ and they can’t wait to see y’all dressed up!

Officers for the 2025 fair year will be:

President:  Cori Hopkins

Vice President:  Collin Whitehead

Secretary:  Karamaneh Norwood

Reporter/Community Relations:  Brooks Parker

New and Returning Members are: Jack Hutson, Abby Smith, Easton Swisher and Dallas Bomar

To gain leadership skills and show the importance of community relations, the Junior Board will be out and about raising funds and gathering food items for the Little Pantries of Henry County, as a community service project.

The Fair in the Classroom project is in the planning stages and will be sharing with the 4th grade classrooms how exciting our agriculture commodity Hay can be to learn about.

There is no doubt the Henry County Junior Fairboard is an asset to the community and they hope you come out and support them and the fair throughout this year.

They can’t wait to see you at the Henry County Fair August 8-16, 2025 for “A Barn-Raising, Hay-Grazing Good Time.”
