
Paris, Tenn.–With the $4,177 raised today, the total so far for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $229,539.
Today’s donations came from PLUS, Henry Co. Cemetery Committee, Henry County Archives, Genealogical Society, the Paris-Henry County Chamber Music Society and Dyersburg State. Auctioneer was Amy Veazey. Manning the phones were members of Paris Rotary.
Saturday will be one of the biggest days, with First United Methodist Church donating items. There will be two auctions–the one in the afternoon starts at noon and the evening auction starts at 6 p.m. Day-time auctioneers will be Amy Veazey and Darrin Thompson, with Doug Taylor performing auctioneering services in the evening.
Auction phone is 644 1695. The auction is held at the Paris Convention Center at 1510 East Wood St., Paris. Dozens of groups and local communities raise thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit service organizations.

The auction begins at 12:30p.m. on weekdays and noon on Saturdays.
