Helping Hand Radio Auction Now At $216,649

Paris, Tenn.–With the $6,184 raised today, the grand total in the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction now stands at $216,649. The auction goes from January 6 through February 26.

21 slates of a wide assortment of donations–from baked goods, homemade candy, breads, soups and chili, several Clifty Farm hams, children’s easels and chairs from JC Educational Supply and more–came from local veterans organizations, VFW Post, Amvets Post, Darkhorse Lodge, American Legion Post and Paris Elks Lodge.

Wednesday items: Walmart, Covenant Ranch, New Wave Buddy Ball and Tennessee Valley Board of Realtors.

Thursday items: Fairview Baptist, HCHS Speech Team, HCHS Swim Team, Atkins-Porter Neighborhood.

Friday items: PLUS, Henry Co. Cemetery Committee, Henry County Archives, Genealogical Society, Chamber Music Society.

Saturday: First United Methodist Church.

Auction phone is 644 1695. The auction is held at the Paris Convention Center at 1510 East Wood St., Paris. Dozens of groups and local communities raise thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit service organizations.

The auction is broadcast daily at our radio station WHNY, 104.7 FM/AM 1000; on our website at radionwtn.com and on the Henry County Helping Hand website.

The auction begins at 12:30p.m. on weekdays and noon on Saturdays.
