Stewart County, Tenn.–A suspect who evaded capture on Tuesday of last week was caught by deputies and THP Troopers Saturday.
Last Tuesday Investigator Aaron Page attempted to stop a vehicle that was driven by a suspect that was wanted for Theft and Burglary charges out of Montgomery County. Investigator Page was on Gillum Hollow Road when the driver pulled into an area with several trailers and apartments. The driver jumped from the vehicle and ran into the woods. Deputies and K-9 Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
On Saturday, after following up on information, Corporal Josh Miller and Deputy Ryan Griffin along with THP Troopers went to a residence on Pumpkin Valley Road and was able to locate Keaton Jones at the residence. He was taken into custody and taken to the Stewart County Detention Center. Jones faces several charges here in Stewart County before he is to be picked up by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Another Great Job getting this suspect off the streets and cleaning up our county. We also appreciate the help from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
