Paris, Tenn.–It was a VERY BIG DAY at the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction, with $21,955 raised, bringing the year-to-date total to $192,252.
High bids and donations brought the total up for the Chapel Hill/Guthrie Rd. community; Holy Cross Catholic Church; and TARP Center for Independent Living.
Two items stood out among the high bidding today: a Precious Garden quilt went for $1,025 and a suncatcher went for $1,100. Both the quilt and suncatcher were made by Holy Cross Catholic Church pre-school teachers Katie O’Brien and Natalie Norwood and the kids.
