Paris, Tenn.–With the $5,419 raised today, the year-to-date total for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $170,247.
Today’s items were donated by the Buchanan community, Lakewood Beta Club, and HCHS Soccer and today’s action saw some big donations, plus a few good old-fashioned bidding wars. Auctioneer was Noel Hatman, with the Paris Quota Club manning the phones.
Friday items: Chapel Hill/Guthrie Rd.; Holy Cross Catholic Church; TARP. Amy Veazey will be auctioneer, with the Paris Rotary manning the phones.
Saturday is Henry County Hospital day.
Auction phone is 644 1695. The auction is held at the Paris Convention Center at 1510 East Wood St., Paris. Dozens of groups and local communities raise thousDonaands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit service organizations.
The auction is broadcast daily at our radio station WHNY, 104.7 FM/AM 1000; on our website at radionwtn.com and on the Henry County Helping Hand website.
The auction begins at 12:30p.m. on weekdays and noon on Saturdays.
