
Mike “Bacon” Hall, 63, of Benton, Kentucky, formerly of Henry County, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mike was born Saturday, May 21, 1960, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Loyd Everett Hall and the late Naomi Sykes Hall. Besides his parents, Mike is also preceded in death by his daughter: Tara Nicole Hall; brothers: Gary, Robert, and Larry Hall; and by a special niece: Leanne Labadie.
Mike was a 1978 graduate of Henry County High School.
He started his career in Texas working in the oil fields.
Upon returning to Paris, he worked for Custom Metals and was involved in the construction of Paris’ Eiffel Tower.
His last job was with Darnell Steel, working for Chris Darnell who was not just his boss but also a dear friend.
Mike enjoyed gardening, loved riding his four-wheeler, and spending time with Rhonda.
He is survived by his daughter: Christina Hall, of Buchanan, Tennessee, and by his life partner: Rhonda Townsend, of Benton, Kentucky. He was formerly married to Cindy Hall, still close friend, of Buchanan; Mike is also survived by his sister: Ruth Davidson, of Murray; nieces: Michelle Starkey and Renea Starkey; nephew: William (Crystal) Starkey, Jr.; by his closest friends: Rob Montgomery, Tony Thomas, and Richard Board. He also leaves behind the Barnhill family of Buchanan, along with numerous other friends.
His body is to be cremated and a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
The family plans to bury Mike’s and his brother Gary’s ashes in Olive Branch Cemetery following the service.
