At Lake Road School in Obion County, the 6th-grade students, alongside SRO Ben Hudson, received their L.E.A.D. program t-shirts. These shirts signify more than just attire; they represent a commitment to drug prevention and a healthy lifestyle.
Thanks to the support of the Obion County Drug Coalition, the L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) program is making a significant impact in our schools. Taught by our dedicated SROs in each of our schools, these classes provide crucial education on the dangers of drug use and encourage students to choose a drug-free path.
They’re grateful for the ongoing support of the Obion County Drug Coalition in funding these important initiatives. Together, they’re fostering a culture of awareness and empowerment among our students.
With L.E.A.D. classes available in each of the schools, they’re equipping our youth with the knowledge and tools to make informed choices for a safer, healthier future. Let’s continue to prioritize prevention and education in our community.
