Paris, Tenn.–There will be no West Tennessee Healthcare representatives at tonight’s meeting of the Henry County Commission.
The only discussion tonight regarding the Henry County Medical Center will be the last two resolutions on the agenda which are (1) approval of the amended Private Act to allow Henry County Healthcare (hospital nursing home) to be sold, and (2) approval to hire an attorney to jointly represent HCMC and the County.
The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. at the courthouse.
In other business tonight, Mayor John Penn Ridgeway will provide an update on future county buildings and projects; the commission will appoint a District 1 Commissioner to fill the unexpired term of the late Randy Gean; and the commission will accept the resignation of County Property Assessor Charles VanDyke (as announced at the last meeting).
