Services for SFC Michael D Beal, is Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at McLemoresville United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends on Friday at the church 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at McLemoresville Cemetery.

Pallbearers to serve are Logan Beal, Joey Cherry, Jason Compton, Billy Aldridge, Greg Camper, and Tony Mitchell.

Officiating the services is Phil Williams.

He was born in Jackson, Tennessee, Saturday, March 29, 1975, to Danny Joe Beal and Mary Ann Compton Smith.

He was a graduate of West Carroll High School Class of 1994, attended Lambuth University and Bethel University before deciding to join the U.S. Army.

He joined the Army in September 1996 and retired with 20 years in September 2016. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg, NC. While in service he served in Bosnia, Vilseck Germany, Kosovo, Ft. Bragg NC, 3 tours in Iraq and 2 tours in Afghanistan, Ft. Benning Ga and retired at Ft Bliss Texas.

He was employed by Allied Solutions as a security supervisor.

He is survived by his parents: Barry and May Ann Smith, of Atwood, Danny Joe Beal, of Fayetteville, NC; two children: Logan Beal and Grace Beal, of Fayetteville, NC; a special person: Patricia Beal, of Fayetteville, NC; and Uncle Donald ( Nancy) Compton, of Henderson, TN; and an Aunt Barbara Bell, of Henderson, TN.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: CMDR. Don and Catherine Compton, of Henderson, TN, paternal grandparents: Joe and Marie Beal, of McKenzie, TN, step-grandparents: James and Marcella Smith, of Atwood and stepmother: Paulette Beal of Loretto, TN.
