Darlene Johnson, 49, of Indian Mound, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Leland, Mississippi, Sunday, August 18, 1974, the daughter of William and Mary Black.
She was a graduate of Montgomery Central High School Class of 1993.
Darlene was a devoted homemaker and loved her family dearly.
She enjoyed cooking and having her family together.
She was a graduate of Montgomery Central High School Class of 1993.
Darlene and her family attended Dunbar Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister and aunt.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 24 years: Bailey Eugene Johnson; daughter: Katie Johnson; son: Issac Johnson; brothers: Billy Black and Bobby Black (Barbara); sisters: Cindy Black (Don) and Jennifer Hampton.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at Dunbar Chapel Free Will Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. James Black officiating.
Burial will follow at Dunbar Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
